i was due to go back to epping today because i had to work at 2pm. remember yesterday when no metropolitan line was running in the London Underground? well, it still was paralyzed today. the alternate station is harrow wealdstone which runs the bakerloo line, but it was also suspended. just before we left home, he checked the central line (which is the epping line). it was partly suspended as well. bad luck: i had to go through those stations to get to my final destination!

having come from a third world country, transportation in London was just amazing to me. we have trains in Cebu but it carried sugarcanes from one place to another, and its a very old train, very recognizable of its bronze color which we shall call, rusts. Manila, Philippines' capital city runs an overground train but its very nothing compared to London. Ours just runs around 2 big cities, Manila and Quezon City. main form of transportation was really bus.
i was beginning to have second thoughts about the Underground after my experience today. but i just cant. i got to my destination at the same exact cost although at a longer duration.
im taking my hats off to the people who runs the Underground because it still took responsibility in the form of Rail Replacement Buses. it is at no extra cost. plus they come every 5-10 minutes. not too bad.
London Bus
if this was in my country, it would have been a different story. i wouldnt get the same assistance as what i am got. the mentality would be, " We are closed. deal with it!".
